Hookah control system
An interesting and unusual project of a controlled hookah. This was done specifically for the contest "Battle of Hookahs" in Odessa for RADIOACTIVE ARCADIA. I made this project together with the cool engineer Maxim Falkovsky. He was engaged in the development of the device case, and I was in the electronics ;)
It all started with the fact that I was asked to quickly make a project (in a week!). The previous programmer delayed the project and failed to complete the task. And I agreed ... And there was very little time!
Description
The main "brain" of the system was Raspberry Pi 3B. Usually a hookah consists of one bowl, but in our case there are 5 of them! With the help of the browser on the phone, it was possible to choose which bowl you would like to smoke. But it would be possible to choose a random one. The system also has a flask purge for air purification. Of course, the setup of the equipment was very interesting. We tried to properly adjust the valve opening so that it was easy to suck in the smoke.
We took 2nd place in this competition!!!
